Counseling & Psychology Services of LaGrange, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

• Psychologist: Must be fully licensed in the State of Georgia or eligible for a provisional license. Preferred candidates will have experience in psychotherapy and evaluation for children, adolescents, and families. Full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (15-25 hours/week) opportunities are available.

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC): Must be fully licensed in the State of Georgia. Preferred candidates will have experience in counseling for children, adolescents, and families. Full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (15-25 hours/week) opportunities are available.

Productivity-Based Pay
Our providers work as independent contractors, and we offer productivity-based pay. The percentage of collections for providers is based on licensure, certifications, and experience.

Location
Our clinic is located in the heart of LaGrange, Georgia, a city approximately 70 miles south of Atlanta. Attractions in LaGrange include Sweetland Amphitheater, West Point Lake, and Great Wolf Lodge. Nearby cities include Columbus, GA, Newnan, GA, and Auburn, AL.

Clinical Opportunities
Referral sources include the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network, local hospitals and and healthcare systems (including WellStar and Emory primary care and specialty clinics), churches and faith-based organizations, colleges and universities, employee assistance programs, the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, and courts, including the Troup County DUI/Drug Court program. Group counseling opportunities include substance use disorder treatment, family violence intervention, sexual offender treatment, and anger management. Other groups are available periodically.

Counselors gain assessment experience by completing intakes for new clients and administering screening instruments throughout the course of treatment, while psychologists have opportunities to complete psychological evaluations, including general evaluations for diagnostic clarity, presurgical evaluations, and fitness for duty evaluations.

Requirements
Basic requirements include proof of identity, licensure, education, professional references, and a criminal background check.
