Substance Abuse and Addiction Treatment (ASAM)

Our Substance Abuse and Addiction Treatment (ASAM) program is designed on a case-by-case basis and may incorporate single or multiple modalities (e.g., individual, group, or family therapy). The degree of intensity (session frequency and session length) and duration (number of weeks) may be determined by a clinical evaluator or may be ordered by a judge. Generally, the recommendations for treatment will be described in terms of ASAM Level. The American Society for Addiction Medicine (ASAM) has developed guidelines for substance abuse and addiction treatment that are based on clinical needs (e.g., medical, psychological, social, etc.). Counseling & Psychology Services of LaGrange, Inc. is able to meet the majority of the needs for outpatient ASAM treatment levels.
